Cash payments will no longer be accepted at campgrounds maintained by the Polk County Parks and Natural Resources Division beginning March 1, 2026.
Campers can still use a credit card, check or money order when reserving and paying for a campsite in-person. Advance reservations and payments are also available online at www.polkfl.gov/things-to-do/parks-and-recreation/campgrounds/.
Campgrounds operated and maintained by the Polk County Parks and Natural Resources Division include:
- Coleman Landing at Shady Oaks Recreation Area, 1450 Shady Oak Drive, Lake Wales, FL 33898
- Lake Arbuckle Park, 2600 Lake Arbuckle Road, Frostproof, FL 33843
- Lake Rosalie Park, 2925 Rosalie Lake Road, Lake Wales, FL 33898
- Port Hatchineha Park, 15050 Lake Hatchineha Road, Haines City, FL 33844
- Saddle Creek Park, 3716 Morgan Combee Road, Lakeland, FL 33801
