Lakeland will see a 55-degree swing with near-freezing temperatures by Tuesday Morning

With no relief in sight for severe dry conditions in Lakeland because of a statewide drought, another 50-degree-plus temperature swing is coming to potentially add more fuel for wildfires. 

The weekend highs are expected to be near 90 degrees.

Then temperatures are expected to plummet to 33 degrees by the morning of Feb. 24.
