The Humane Society of Polk County is proud to offer reduced-cost spay and neuter services for qualifying Polk County residents receiving EBT benefits. Funding is limited, and discounts are available only while funds remain available.
**Discounted Pricing:**
Cat Spay/Neuter: **$50**
Dogs 2–20 lbs: **$125**
Dogs 21–49 lbs: **$165**
Dogs 50–80 lbs: **$215**
**Price includes surgery, pre-surgical exam, anesthesia, and patient monitoring. Additional pain medications ($15-$30), vaccines, e-collar are additional**
**Rabies vaccine is required if your pet is not currently vaccinated: $20**
**To receive the EBT discount, ALL of the following must be submitted when your appointment request is made:**
Enter **”EBT”** in the notes section of the appointment request form.
Upload proof of current EBT benefits (card or benefits paperwork).
Upload proof of Polk County residency.
Please note: Discounts cannot be applied on the morning of surgery, at check-in, or at pick-up. All required documentation must be submitted at the time the appointment is requested. **No exceptions.**
