Polk County leadership welcomed Congressman Scott Franklin to the Polk County Fire Rescue Training Center Thursday morning. PCFR’s Fire Chief Shawn Smith and Deputy Chief Ramon Gonzalez showed Congressman Franklin around the 30,000 square feet facility and the surrounding grounds.
After touring the main building, Congressman Franklin toured the state-of-the-art fire tower and fire behavior lab before he witnessed a simulated car fire demonstration.
