Evan’s Legacy Baseball Classic in Lakeland. Local HS players take part in a showcase for coaches from PolkState, SEU, FL Southern, etc.

The late Evan Chambers, for whom the event is named, played baseball at Lakeland HS and in the Pirates’ minor league organization. A diamond at Fletcher Park is also named for him. This annual event provides an incredible opportunity for local high school athletes to demonstrate their skills and catch the attention of collegiate recruiters.
