S. FLORIDA AVE.: Be prepared for delays on South Florida Avenue around Palmetto and Walnut streets the week of June 23. The middle three (of five) lanes will be closed to repair sewer lines and manholes.
AIRPORT NOISE: Starting Wednesday, Draken International will test F-1 Mirage engines two to three times a week for eight weeks at its Lakeland Linder Airport facility. Each test will last about an hour and a half, with jet engine noise levels higher than normal, airport officials say. Tests will take place between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
