If your morning commute involves US-98 in north Lakeland, you should expect some delays Friday morning.
A Polk County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson says deputies are at the scene of a crash involving three vehicles. The crash happened around 5:40 a.m. Friday on US-98 at Old Dade City Road.
The sheriff’s office says traffic is very congested in that area. Drivers should try to use alternate routes if possible.
Deputies do not believe there are any fatalities involved in the crash. They did not say if there were any injuries.
The sheriff’s office is still investigating what led up to the crash.
