The Aerospace Center For Excellence (ACE) is a 14-building aerospace STEM facility located on the SUN ‘n FUN Expo Campus. ACE has vibrantly created a vision of building a brighter future through aerospace and aviation! This purposeful vision will now further come to life through someone with: unique and varied aviation experience; his own technology company; motivational entertaining presentation and educational delivery; and global business venture leadership experience. ACE is pleased to announce Daryl Price’s appointment to the new Executive Director of the Aerospace Center For Excellence. President and CEO, John “Lites” Leenhouts states, “Daryl comes with a wealth of experience and knowledge, that partners exquisitely with a very engaging personality, all of which will be instrumental in leading our ACE Team as we bring the SkyLab Innovation Center to life.”
Relocating from Appleton, Wisconsin, Daryl will immediately begin having a direct impact on the ACE campus. Previously a life-long resident of Wisconsin, Daryl majored in Applied Mathematics and Physics at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Initially finding career success as a commercial pilot and certified flight instructor, Daryl decided to pursue further professional opportunities and growth. This led to the development and executive leadership of a world-class technology and business development consulting company with roots in technical training, leading-edge technologies, and leadership services and solutions. This innovative venture created the opportunity for hobbies, passions, interests and relationships (both professional and personal) to collide; evolving into motivational, educational, and entertaining motivational, keynote and educational presentations – based on 20+ years of executive business and technology development and leadership, combined with the unique subtle use and emphasis sourced from the literary, educational, motivational, creative works and cultural influence of Dr. Seuss.
In addition to other accomplishments, he is a nationally recognized technical instructor and curriculum developer for 9 technical subject areas, with instruction to over 15,000 engineers and students and has developed international technical training and certification exam resources. He will be responsible for leadership within innovative programs and strategic vision that will include the Skylab Innovation Center and its educational resources, the Florida Air Museum and flight training opportunities and resources for CFAA Students and other Aviation/STEM participants on the ACE campus. Having experienced strategic planning, executive leadership, and operational excellence, Daryl will be a key to ongoing growth and success for ACE. Dedication to the visionary and innovative expansion of the Aerospace Center For Excellence program offerings and resources is another indication of the commitment that Daryl will provide significant value to ACE and it’s STEM development plans and visions over the coming years.
