Mr. Ryan Petty – father of 14-year-old Alaina Petty, a Parkland shooting victim will become an honorary Polk County School Guardian on July 11, 2019
Mr. Andrew Pollack – father of 18-year-old Meadow Pollack, a Parkland shooting victim – will also be in attendance, in support of Mr. Petty’s achievements and this momentous occasion. Mr. Pollack has been a staunch advocate for school safety and a strong supporter of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Commission. Mr. Petty serves on the Commission with Sheriff Judd. They are both committed to making a positive difference in schools across the state.
