Senior Lorine Parker and junior David Larson have been voted The Mid-South Conference Sun Division Football Offensive Player of the Week and Special Teams Player of the Week.

Parker had a career-best 112 yards, on a career-high 16 carries, and found the end zone three times in a 30-10 victory. The junior scored on a pair of one-yard touchdown runs, and also broke off a 40-yard scoring scamper down the home sideline, breaking multiple tackles, and making a defender miss at the goal line.
Larson placed two of his three punts inside the Gyrenes’ 2-yard line, and all three were inside the 20, including his long punt of the night at 59 yards. The 59-yarder was the second longest of Larson’s career. The junior also connected on all four of his PAT attempts.
This is the seventh time Larson has been honored and the first for Parker.
The duo helped guide the Fire to their first 4-0 start in program history.
The No.12 Fire travel to Miami Gardens, Fla. on Saturday to face St. Thomas at 12 p.m.
