The FSC brass faculty (including Brian Brink, trombone; Don McLaurin, trumpet; and Richard Sparrow, horn) have returned to our Faculty Artist Series through popular demand, enticing selected instrumental colleagues to join forces with them to present a wonderful, wild, and wacky evening of sonic amusements for our students, faculty, and patrons. A selection of diverse pieces will include musical scores augmented by curious collaborations outside the brass’ domain – and in the center ring for the evening will be composer John Cheetham’s delightful piece, A Brass Menagerie.
