SEU Men’s Cross Country Battles Loaded Field at Great Lakes Challenge

Racing against 18 teams ranked or receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25, the Southeastern University men’s cross country team placed 22^nd at the Great Lakes Challenge.

Senior Mario Perez was the top finisher for the Fire in 69^th place in a time of 26:33. Freshman Alan Romero was in 95^th just 21 seconds behind Perez.

Sophomore Luke Kathman placed 114^th in a time of 27:07 and was followed by John Perez-Dunn in 138^th in a time of 27:26.

Jordan Gonzalez rounded out the scoring in 151^st in a time of 27:41.

The Fire will next take the course at The Sun Conference Championships in Hardeeville, S.C. in two weeks.
