The Fire men’s golf team concluded the fall portion of its schedule with a sixth-place finish at the Adamonis Invitational held at Trump National Doral.
Southeastern had its best 54-hole team score of the year at 884, scoring 302 in the first, 289 in the second, and 293 in the third.
Sophomore Andres Padilla was the top individual finisher in a tie for 10th, shooting a two-under 70 in Monday’s second round on the Red Tiger Course, then had a three-under 69 in Tuesday’s final round on the famed Blue Monster.
Padilla recorded 18 birdies in 54 holes during the tournament to lead the field.
Landry Miller had his best 18-hole round of the season in Round 2 with a one-under 71, carding four birdies. Miller finished tied for 21st, shooting a total score of 221 (74-71-76).
Jacob Souncinek bounced back in the second round after shooting 79 with a one-under 71, and closed with a 73 to finish tied for 26th. Matthew Soucinek tied for 35th with a total of 228 (74-77-77).
Noah Endicott was 49th with a total of 234, closing with his best round of the season at 75.
