The Southeastern University women’s cross country team made a big leap in the NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 after a strong showing at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge last Saturday.
The Fire moved up to eighth in the poll released this morning by the national office.
Southeastern moved up six spots from its previous ranking, which was boosted by beating three Top 10 teams in Grand Rapids last week.
Women’s cross country becomes the 10th Southeastern University team to achieve a Top 10 ranking in their respective coaches’ poll.
The Fire will next compete on November 9th at The Sun Conference Championship in Hardeeville, S.C.
