Registered voters who reside in the cities of Lakeland and Winter Haven will have the option to receive a Vote-by-Mail ballot for the December 3rd Run-Off Election being held in both cities.
Lakeland residents will decide the outcome of the City Commission race for City Commission At-Large Seat 2 between Chad McLeod and Carole Philipson, and in Winter Haven, voters will choose between Tracy Mercer and William Twyford to decide the winner in the race for City Commissioner, Seat 1.
Voters who received a Vote-by-Mail ballot for the November 5th city election will automatically be mailed a ballot for the Run-Off Election.
Other voters may request that a ballot be mailed to them by calling the Elections Office at 863-534-5888, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, or by clicking on the “Vote by Mail” button at PolkElections.com. Voted ballots must be returned to the Supervisor of Elections by 7 pm on Election Day, December 3rd.
