The 2019 Southeastern football season came to an end as the highest ranked team not in the NAIA Football Championship Series field.
The Fire were 14th in the final coaches’ poll of the regular season, just missing out on an at-large berth in the playoffs.
Southeastern finished its season with an 8-1 record with its lone loss to now No. 7 Keiser.
This is the second-highest ranking the Fire have had in the final regular season poll behind the 2017 team which entered the playoffs at No. 9.
