A UP Locomotive 6665 caught fire and the firefighting suppression water caused the overflow of the locomotive sump resulting in an estimated 30 gallons of oil to the ballast. The approximate area affected was 3′ long, 20′ wide and surface of the ballast only. Source removal of impacted ballast will be conducted via visual observation.
The fire was at the CSX Winston Yard on Wilkinson Road.
