Southeastern University senior offensive tackle Mike Davis was named to the Associated Press NAIA Football All-America First Team, released this morning.
Davis was also named to the American Football Coaches’ Association All-America team, becoming a consensus first team All-American.
The Bradenton native anchored an offensive line that held opponents to a total of 10 sacks against in nine games, which is sixth-best in the NAIA. Additionally, the Fire are third nationally in scoring per game at 43.6 points per game, and are fourth in yards per game at 470.7.
Davis was a two-time All-Mid-South Sun Division selection in his two seasons with the Fire, and was also an NJCAA All-American before coming to SEU.
