Southeastern University women’s basketball coach Tim Hays was selected as the NAIA winner of the WHoopDirt Coach of the Week presented by Pivot Analysis.
Hays was honored after a 3-0 week with victories over an NCAA Division II squad in overtime, the No. 13 team in NAIA Division II, and the highlight, a 97-72 win over previously unbeaten and top-ranked Concordia (Neb.).
The Fire have now won 12 straight after a 1-2 start to the season.
All coaches that win a weekly coach of the week award will be eligible for the WHoopDirt National Coach of the Week at the end of the season.
Southeastern will return to action a week from tomorrow at Florida Memorial.
