Southeastern will host two playoff teams in its six home games during the 2020 football season.
For the sixth time in seven seasons, the team begins the year on the road in Grayson, Ky. to take on Kentucky Christian University. On September 5th, the Fire will host its home opener at Victory Field at 7 p.m. with the opponent still to be determined.
The following week, the Fire will play host to the University of Pikeville at 7 p.m. The Bears have won at least five games each of the last four seasons.
On September 26th, SEU will host the defending Mid-South Appalachian Division champions at Reinhardt University. The Eagles made their fifth consecutive NAIA Football Championship Series appearance in 2019. Reinhardt advanced to the national championship game in 2017, just one year after defeating the Fire in SEU’s postseason debut.
Southeastern will close out its non-division portion of the schedule with a rematch of last year’s opener in Valley, Ala. against Point University on October 3rd.
Sun Division play starts against defending champion Keiser at Victory Field on October 10th at 7 p.m. Last year, Keiser defeated the Fire 42-29 in West Palm Beach en route to its first conference title in program history.
After a trip to Ave Maria on October 17th, the Fire will host Webber International for Homecoming on October 24th.
The home regular-season finale is on November 7th against St. Thomas and the regular season closes with a trip to Miami Gardens to take on the first-year program Florida Memorial.
