The College of Arts & Media at Southeastern University will hold its annual Expressions Story Institute and Writers’ Conference on Friday, January 31. The conference will feature five-time best-selling author, speaker, and writing coach Jeff Goins. Additionally, faculty members from the Department of Humanities within the college, who specialize in written communication and storytelling, will hold workshops to help attendees refine their creative communication skills.
Goins rose to notoriety quite suddenly after launching his blog, “Tribe Writers.” In less than a year, his audience grew to 100,000 readers, and he has continued to experience monumental growth as his influence has grown. Goins operates from an innate belief that we all possess creative abilities, and his vision is to empower people in sharing their creative gifts with the world.
Goins has been featured in the Washington Post, USA Today, Entrepreneur, Forbes and Psychology Today. He is best known for his best-selling books, “The Art of Work” and “Real Artists Don’t Starve.” Goins also publishes an award-winning blog, GoinsWriter.com.
