Jacarra Carey, CNM, APRN, MSN, joins Lakeland Regional Health Physician Group as a Certified Nurse Midwife. Ms. Carey earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing/Midwifery at the University of Cincinnati. She serves in the U.S. Air Force Reserve as a Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of Physical Exams for Primary Care Clinic Duke Field in Florida. She most recently served as a Midwife at Advent Health in Orlando, Florida. Ms. Carey sees patients at the Carol Jenkins Barnett Pavilion for Women and Children on the south side of the Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center Campus.
Humberto Lamoutte, MD, FACOG, joins Lakeland Regional Health Physician Group as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist seeing patients at the Carol Jenkins Barnett Pavilion for Women and Children. Dr. Lamoutte earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his Residency in Obstetrics-Gynecology at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Lamoutte practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology in Illinois for the past 23 years, most recently as a Physician in the Advocate Medical Group OB/Gyn. Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Lamoutte has extensive experience performing minimally invasive procedures with the DaVinci® robotic-assisted surgical system.
Mark Friberg, MD, joins Lakeland Regional Health Physician Group as a Pediatrician. Dr. Friberg earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Tulane University Medical School. He completed his Residency and Internship in Pediatrics at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center and earned several awards, including the Combat Medical Badge and Army Commendation Medal for his medical service in the Military. Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Friberg sees patients at the Winter Haven location, 430 E Central Ave.
