Ysabella Guerra won the women’s 3,000 meter event at the Embry-Riddle Indoor-Outdoor Challenge while recording the second fastest time in school history. Florida Southern College women’s track posted five top-ten finishes, all good enough to enter the record books.
In the 3000 meter, Guerra, Addison Cantor, and Sarah Zamot took the top three spots while Alayna Goll snagged seventh overall. All four women enter the record books with the second, third, fifth and eighth fastest times in school history.
The 4×800 meter team (Amber Winton, Liz Miranda, Mackenzie Wills, and Haley Rodriguez) marked the fourth fastest time in school history while Kate Hanna, in her first collegiate race, took 27th in the 800 meter.
The team has some time off before returning to action next month in the UT Track Classic in Tampa, Fla. on Feb. 21.
