The Florida Outdoor Sculpture Competition is an annual sculpture show that allows a rotating selection of sculptures to be displayed on the Lemon Street Promenade. Artists submit sculptures for consideration and 11 pieces are chosen by a Jury comprised of City of Lakeland staff, Polk Museum of Art staff, and representatives of the Lakeland art community. The Parks & Recreation staff, along with assistance from Public Works & Lakeland Electric, provide a helping hand to the artists as they install.
