Congratulations John Phillips Jr. who celebrated his 17th birthday bypassing his check ride! John is the 101st Private Pilot to receive his wings through the ACE JCR Flight Training Scholarship program. A junior at Discovery High School in Polk County, Florida, John’s love for aviation also inspired him to start a Drone Club at his school.
John’s plans include becoming a commercial airline pilot after attending Polk State College and then transferring to the University of Florida.
