Watson Clinic is pleased to announce the recruitment of two new additions to their team of physicians & providers.
Yeneneh Desta, MD joins the Infectious Diseases department at Watson Clinic Main. He received his medical degree from Gondar College of Medical Services in Gondar, Ethiopia. Dr. Desta completed an Internal Medicine residency from Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta, GA. He then went on to complete an Infectious Diseases fellowship from the University of Miami Jackson Health Systems in Miami, FL. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine & Infectious Diseases, and a member of the American Medical Association, Infectious Diseases Society of America, and American Academy of HIV Medicine.

Melissa Kham, APRN isa registered nurse practitioner who works alongside board-certified Gynecologic Oncologist Dr. Richard Cardosi at the Watson Clinic Bella Vista Building at 1755 N. Florida Ave. in Lakeland, FL. She received her associate of nursing degree from Polk Community College in Winter Haven, FL. Ms. Kham went on to complete her bachelor and master of science degrees in nursing from Chamberlain University College of Nursing in Addison, IL. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Polk County Advanced Practice Nurses Association.
