Watson Clinic is pleased to announce the return of Wendi Johnson, APRN, a registered nurse practitioner who now serves patients of Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery specialist John R. Ellington, Jr., MD from the Watson Clinic Bella Vista Building at 1755 N. Florida Ave in Lakeland.
During her previous tenure at the Clinic, Ms. Johnson served patients of Dr. Tarek Garas. In her new role working alongside Dr. Ellington, she will provide annual exams, contraceptive management, adolescent gynecologic care, and treatments for menopause and irregular periods. In addition, she specializes in the treatment of urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic floor weakness, pelvic pain and pelvic organ prolapse, as well as female wellness and rejuvenation concerns utilizing the diVa® Laser Vaginal Therapy device.
Ms. Johnson earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, and her Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner degree from South University in Tampa, FL. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
