Emergency repairs to restore water service lost from a damaged fire hydrant has closed the intersection of Bannon Island Road and Detour Road in Haines City. Intersection will reopen when hydrant is replaced and service restored. Depending on direction of travel, traffic can bypass intersection along State Road 17 (Scenic Highway), County Road 544 (Lake Marion Road) or County Road 546 (Kokomo Road). Minor travel delays are expected. Motorists should drive with caution and add extra time to trips through area.
