Mark your calendars and adjust your travel itinerary as Disney World will be shut down on February 29, 30, and 31st of this year.
After a record-breaking 2020, the Walt Disney Company has decided to shut down these two days to give an extended break for their beloved employees. Although the Walt Disney World resorts and hotels will remain open, the theme parks will be closed alongside the water parks. Disney is urging guests to make sure they have adequate transportation during these two days as their transportation systems will be decommissioned for this time period.
Disney isn’t a stranger to changing their park schedules last minute, as in the past hurricane seasons they have shut down the parks for the safety of the guests and their employees. Stay tuned as we get closer to have an update!
