- Sanjiv Gray, MD, FACS, DABOM, Bariatric Surgeon, joins the Bariatric Surgery team as part of the new Institute for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and Medicine. Dr. Gray earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine and completed his Residency in Surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons at Harlem Hospital Center in New York. He received his Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Gray is certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care and by the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
- Dean Sandifer, MD, joins Lakeland Regional Health Physician Group as a Critical Care Physician, seeing patients at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center. Dr. Sandifer earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana, and completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and a Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Louisiana State University. He is certified in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
- Austen Keeler, PA-C, joins Lakeland Regional Health Physician Group as a Surgical First Assistant at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center. Mr. Keeler earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, and his Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
- Haylee Smith, WHNP, joins Lakeland Regional Health Physician Group as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with Lakeland Regional Health’s Obstetrics and Gynecology practice at the Carol Jenkins Barnett Pavilion for Women and Children. Ms. Smith earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, and her Master of Science in Nursing degree at Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky. She is certified by the National Certification Corporation.
- Bruce Meyers, MD, joins the Lakeland Regional Health Physician Group as a Critical Care physician seeing patients at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center. Dr. Meyers earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Florida, also attending St. Georges’ University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Ohio, and a Fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism from the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, and a Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine from the University Hospitals of Cleveland. Dr. Meyers is certified in Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
