Over the weekend, the Polk County Fire Rescue CERT teams completed their annual basic training. 67 participants rotate through nine skills stations throughout the day. They covered interior searches, fire suppression, splinting, positioning, cribbing, CPR/ AED, and lifts and carries. Twelve staff members and several Cadets assisted with the skills day.
