Registered voters who reside in the cities of Haines City and Lakeland will have the option to receive a Vote-by-Mail ballot for the May 4th Run-Off Election being held in both cities.
Haines City residents will decide the outcome of the City Commission race for City Commission Seat 5 between Anne Huffman and Kenneth Kipp, and in Lakeland, voters will choose between Mike Musick and Shandale Terrell to decide the winner in the race for City Commissioner, District D – Southeast.
Voters who received a Vote-by-Mail ballot for the April 6th city election will automatically be mailed a ballot for the Run-Off Election.
Other voters may request that a ballot be mailed to them by calling the Elections Office at (863) 534-5888 or by clicking on the “Vote by Mail” button at PolkElections.com. The deadline to request a mail ballot is Saturday, April 24th. Voted ballots must be returned to the Supervisor of Elections Office by 7 pm on Election Day, May 4th.
