Ballots are now available for city voters in Haines City and Lakeland who wish to vote by mail in the May 4th run-off municipal elections. “No stamp is necessary to return the ballot as the return postage is pre-paid,” said Supervisor of Elections, Lori Edwards.
Voted ballots must be returned to the Supervisor of Elections Office by 7 pm on May 4th. Voted ballots can be mailed or dropped off at Election Headquarters, 250 South Broadway Avenue in Bartow or dropped at the Election Operations Center, 70 Florida Citrus Boulevard in Winter Haven.
Additionally, ballots may also be dropped at one of the following City Halls during their normal hours of operation April 26th through May 3rd.
- Haines City – City Hall Lobby, 620 E Main St
- Lakeland – City Hall Lobby, 228 S Massachusetts Ave
Voters can request a mail ballot by visiting the Supervisor of Elections website at PolkElections.com or calling the Elections Office at (863) 534-5888. Last day to request a Vote by Mail ballot is Saturday, April 24th.
