I noted in The Ledger’s picture of Gov. DeSantis’ signing the Anti-Riot Bill in Winter Haven that neither he nor a single one of the two dozen plus officials in attendance was wearing a mask [“DeSantis signs sweeping, controversial anti-riot bill,” April 20]. These officials were standing shoulder-to-shoulder indoors.
Even in the unlikely case that all had already been vaccinated against COVID-19, I am disappointed that our leaders did not follow CDC guidelines. Especially when viral variants that may be partially resistant to vaccines are circulating, I would have hoped for more responsible behavior.

Shouldn’t the same apply at the Oscars ?
Is the Lakeland Gazette going socialist/liberal now, or have they always been? I have had a belly full of Main stream Media manipulation, I’ve dumped The Ledger, now I dump this silly thing. Freaking TV is full of it. I’m sure there are others out there that suck up this liberal junk, but not me and I do believe there others out there that have the same mind set.
