Project SkyLab is well Underway!
Did you know that LAL is home to the Florida Air Museum, Florida’s Official Aviation Museum and Education Center?
Located on the campus of the Aerospace Center for Excellence the museum houses a collection of priceless exhibits and static aircraft including a Boeing 727, F-14 Tomcat, C-47 Skytrain, Vertical Riser, and SeaDart among others!
They are currently undergoing a massive expansion, dubbed Project SkyLab (pictured below), the Florida Air Museum and Aerospace Center for Excellence are looking to create a gathering hub for aerospace education right here in Lakeland!
