Please welcome Lakeland Fire Department’s new Public Relations and Information Manager!
Stephanie Lewis is the newest addition to #Fire Administration team, serving in the Communications and Outreach Division. She will be leading the department’s public outreach programs and public relations work in the #Lakeland community.
Stephanie has more than seven years of communications management experience specializing in government administration. Prior to the Lakeland Fire Department, Stephanie worked for the City of Haines City, serving in her most recent role for four years as the Communications and Marketing Manager in the City Manager’s Office. Stephanie also served as the City’s Marketing and Event Specialist with the Parks & Recreation Department for three years.
Stephanie graduated from the University of Florida – College of Journalism and Communications with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations. She is currently a member of the Florida Municipal Communicators Association, Florida Public Relations Association, American Marketing Association, and is pursuing accreditation in Public Relations (APR).
