When then TKO Taekwondo Academy wanted to visit the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, how could we say no? The bright (talking about their intelligence AND their shirts) group stopped by the PCSO Hangar recently and got to meet some of our deputies.
We’re sure the kids enjoyed talking to some of our awesome deputies, but the really cool part for them was probably when they got to see a PCSO helicopter, Swamp Buggy, boats, and more.
The next day, to show their appreciation, the TKO group dropped off some mighty fine donuts for the deputies (apparently there is some kind of rumor that cops like donuts or something).
That same day, the deputies worked with some members of County Code Enforcement and Roadway Maintenance on a clean-up initiative in Poinciana, and the deputies shared some of their donuts with them.
Apparently Code Enforcement and Roadway Maintenance members like donuts too.
