Today Lakeland firefighters visited Draken International to learn safety procedures for systems related to pilot rescue on the L-159 ALCA, A-4 Skyhawk, and Mirage F1.
Lakeland Fire Department’s Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Division (ARFF) protect the Lakeland Linder International Airport. The ARFF team is made up of 45 firefighters certified in aircraft firefighting. These firefighters are specially trained to handle the unique challenges that occur in aircraft fire and crash incidents.
