We had a GREAT time yesterday with youth from across Polk County at the 2021 Teen Summit. Thank you to National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives – NOBLE for serving as guest presenter, Jeffrey Williams with Teen Business Camp, and the many sponsors and supporters who helped make the event possible.
Topics discussed at the summit were targeted toward youth, ages 13 to 18, with the goal of improving communications with law enforcement. Presentations also provided an understanding of key federal, state, and local laws.
We hope this is just one of many new outreach efforts between our officers and the community we serve.
