Congratulations to our newest Driver/Engineer Mark Rice! Mark joined Lakeland Fire Department in 2014, serving as a firefighter for the past seven years until his promotion today to Driver/Engineer.
Mark earned his fire standards at Ridge Technical College, graduated from Polk State College with an Associate of Science in Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and maintains his Paramedic certification. His professional goals are to continue his career in fire service and be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.
Mark was joined by his parents Mark and Tanya Rice, son Maverick, daughter Madison, and girlfriend Allison.Congratulations to Mark on his well-earned promotion to Driver Engineer. We wish him continued success in his career with Lakeland Fire Department.
