Lakeland Linder International Airport has received the FAA Southern Region Airports Division General Aviation Airport Safety Award for 2020!
The airport was recognized for the runway rehabilitation and strengthening project, SA CAT II ILS, and the preparatory work for the CAT III ILS. In addition, our Air Traffic Control Tower and Airport Operations team transitioning to 24/7/365 operations was another major factor further enhancing the safe operation of the Airport throughout the day.
