The Holiday Fly-In Festival and Car Show on December 3rd and 4th will be “plane” fun! The two-day fly-in/drive-in event will captivate you with a showplane area, car show, live music, and so much more. Held on the SUN ‘n FUN Expo Campus at the Lakeland Linder International Airport, admission will be $12 per person in advance online or $15 at the gate; children 12 years and under will be FREE.
We are eager to bring this unique event to the people of Polk County and our flying community again this year. With over 200 acres of available space, numerous exhibitors from aviation organizations and local businesses will showcase various products and services. Proceeds will benefit SUN ‘n FUN’s Aerospace Center for Excellence (ACE) STEM education programs.
To accelerate the next generation of Aerospace and Aviation Professionals, this year’s academic programs theme will be “AeroSTEM around the World”, which will include a Passport/Passbook program. This academic offering is in the tradition of Howard Hughes and his historic flight around the world and Epcot’s famed World Showcase Passport program, ACE SkyLab will offer a series of AeroSTEM “country ‘stops’” around the Fly-In! There will also be a Scale Model Aerospace and Aviation Themed GINGERBREAD COMPETITION!
