Black Lives Matter Restoration Polk Inc. President and Registered Agent JARVIS WASHINGTON failed to file their ANNUAL REPORT so the State of Florida closed them down on Sept 24, 2021.
When Black Lives Matter Restoration Polk Inc. was listed as an active Florida Not For Profit Corporation, (by the way no 501c3 was found). They got the City of Lakeland to use Munn Park and other city equipment on May 31, 2020, for their Black Live Matter Rally. But Black Lives Matter Restoration Polk Inc. was not incorporated until June 18, 2020. That’s 19 days after the event in Munn Park.
In 2020 Principal Address was 3707 Avenue M NW Winter Haven Fl. Now on their Facebook, it’s listed their principal address as 1125 N Florida Ave, Lakeland, FL, United States, Florida.
There is NO legal business at 1125 N Florida Ave, Lakeland, FL because that is the address for Bryant Stadium the home of the Lakeland HS Dreadnaughts.
According to the City of Winter Haven, and the City of Lakeland Black Lives Matter Restoration Polk Inc. has had NO business license.
Munn Park usage:
To use Munn Park or Neighborhood Park: the fee is $558 venue fee $34 per man, per hour labor fee $750 refundable damage/rule enforcement fee
Also, documents needed for venue reservation: • Application • 501c3 Documentation or Tax-Exempt Certificate (if applicable) • the Commercial General Liability Insurance/City of Lakeland has an Additional Insured.
Kim Stopiak, CPM, CPRP Assistant Superintendent of Recreation Parks & Recreation Department City of Lakeland answered the following by email, “In regard to the Park and Insurance questions. For Freedom of Speech events, we do not require a rental for use of the park and we do not require insurance. We request the Special Event Permit Application for Freedom of Speech events more for logistical information so that we can make the information available to our safety services divisions and have contact information in the event a meeting on site is needed.”

But the application to use Munn Park by Mercedes Derbinski shows they only expected 25 participants and over 400 showed up.

And Mayor, I heard that you gave a group looking to pray downtown a HARD TIME last year because they did not file a permit in a timely manner! And you call yourself a Christian! I am proud of the group of people that went to pray, because I prayed too! We had to say that it was an UNORGANIZED EVENT TO GATHER TO PRAY! Which meant no advertising because it would then be an organized event!
I have never seen such CANCEL CULTURE IN LAKELAND IN ALL OF MY LIFE! THIS ENDS NOW!

Robert, My wife and I were there that day when we saw people at Munn Park and Lake Mirror walking with signs praying. It was INSPIRATIONAL and moving. They had signs saying PRAY FOR THE UNBORN, PRAY FOR OUR GOVERNMENT LEADERS, PRAY FOR THE WORLD. We did not know about it, we went to the Saturday Market and walked the lake. We stopped to ask why this was not advertised, and we were told the same thing. It had to be UNORGANIZED because the Mayor would not grant a permit. There were no speakers or music, it was just people praying to God and covering Lakeland in prayer. The sad part was that there were not a lot of people. I spoke with one woman who said that she emailed and personally went to every large church in Lakeland and told them about it. I guess these MEGA CHURCHES do not want to come and pray together. It is very sad to see that the remant is small in Lakeland. I hope the prayer group does it AGAIN AFTER MUTZ IS VOTED OUT!
The mayor would NOT come to the October 2020 prayer walk, but he sure did show up for the May 2020 BLM Movement! Pictures are everywhere and he is a sheep in wolves clothing! His own church, Grace City, was invited too. NO ONE FROM HIS CHURCH SHOWED UP!
So much for Grace City coming out to pray in public for 2 hours! But they too were at the BLM Gathering!
I was there at the PRAYER WALK! All it that happened at the PRAYER WALK was people were holding signs and walking around Lake Mirror. It was so quiet, peaceful and beautiful! I hope that they do it again and THOUSANDS COME AND PRAY OVER THIS CITY AND NATION THIS TIME!
It does not matter who put the PRAYER WALK together, God gets the glory and the Mayor was a NO SHOW AND SO WAS HIS CHURCH!
