Mutz is blaming other campaigns for taking his campaign signs.
Lakeland Gazette has reported before that Mutz placed signs on property that he had no permission to use.
And that Lakeland’s own Code Enforcement received complaints last week that Mutz placed signs in the right away which against local ordinances and election law.
The Lakeland Gazette reached out to other campaigns and they all say they have lost a few.

Lakeland is not A+. Mayor Mutz is ALL IN for himself! He filed a police report w/the Lakeland PD regarding his campaign signs that are allegedly missing.
It has come to light that the Lakeland Code Enforcement received COMPLAINTS that there were “Mutz for Mayor” campaign signs placed in the right away which is against local ordinances, & on UNAPPROVED private properties.
Lakelanders need to ask themselves, “HOW MUCH MONEY, TIME, & TAX DOLLARS ARE BEING WASTED AS THE LAKELAND PD CONDUCTS A THOROUGH INVESTIGATION INTO ALLEGED MISSING CAMPAIGN SIGNS?”
Mayor Mutz was quoted, “These things just happen.” If these things ‘just happen’ then why are you wasting valuable time & money on alleged missing signs? The Lakeland PD is being taken away from looking into the documented 3190 crimes involving murder, rape, assault, violent crime, burglary, vehicle theft, robbery, etc.
Lakeland has a C- rating for crime! Lakeland & the small businesses aren’t as important as his campaign signs. C- & D- are UNACCEPTABLE!
