I read your editorial, and I had to comment. In fairness to Bill and Pam, I would like my letter to the editor printed. I watched Bill and Pam Mutz raise their children. To say they would exploit Emma is the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard. Emma has been raised to be an active part of this family and encouraged to participate in the same ways they all do. It appears to me that those complaining must view children with Down’s Syndrome as lesser members of society. On this issue, it’s the ones raking up such garbage as this for political purposes who are to be condemned, not the Mutz family.
