Editorial
We wrote an editorial: Dated 10/16/20 Bill Mutz, “I’m still all in for all of Lakeland” just not my family
Talking briefly about the mayor’s daughter that was caught placing a sign on a lot where the Mutz campaign had no permission to be there.

This is the response we got from the Mayor on Sun, Oct 17, 7:44 AM, “Since this editorial post is very specific, totally false, slanderous, and exploits my precious daughter who has never placed a single campaign sign in any location at all, I demand your full retraction and a correcting post now. If credible accuracy matters now that you are accurately informed, I am confident you will comply accordingly.”
This is the response we sent to the Mayor on 10/18 at 7:01 pm, “Dear Mayor, The facts are there will be no retraction period on the editorial. We choose not to post the video we received of your daughter placing a sign but I will tell you the date and time stamp are 10/11/2021 5:50 pm – 6 pm Memorial Blvd near MLK. This is the same property you do not have permission for any of your signs on. So I would suggest an apology to me and the Lakeland Gazette.”
The Mayor lies, so how can it be “totally false, slanderous, and exploits my precious daughter who has never placed a single campaign sign in any location at all” when the video on 10/11/2021 5:50 pm – 6 pm Memorial Blvd near MLK shows his daughter with the sign.
It was also reported by an editorial Bill and Pam Mutz use daughter for political gain watch this video at 1:26:03 you see and hear the truth!
Pam and Bill should be Emma’s protectors even if she is a legal adult. They should never put her in harm’s way.
It’s time for a change in the Lakeland government. If the Mayor would lie about these facts what else would he lie about to the good people of Lakeland?
We also demand a correction or a retraction by Billy Townsend “Public Enemy Number 1” for the wonderful article.
It sure makes Lakeland look awful when our own mayor would be such a wannabe he’d throw his own kids to the wolves, then not bother to fact-check before hurling mud at another candidate. Trail cameras are easy to install and work well.
