Folks, this man’s name is Jesse Barker. He is 29-years old, and his residence is listed on Acuff Road in Lake Wales.
Barker has been a guest at the Polk County Jail on numerous occasions, with his last stay occurring in March of this year. It’s time he returns. Not so much because we miss him, but more because he has been up to no good again.
A burglary occurred in September on one of the CEMEX properties in Lake Wales, and Barker was eventually determined to be the person responsible for it.
Jesse Barker is accused of moving a Jon boat and removing its motor. Copper wire had been taken from the property as well.
A cell phone was found at the scene, and a detective was able to determine that it belonged to Barker. With that bit of information, the detective checked scrapping records and found that Barker had recently scrapped some copper wire.
The detective obtained an arrest warrant for Jesse Barker. Unfortunately, Barker has been elusive. That’s why Jesse Barker is a #WarrantOfTheDay. He is wanted for Burglary, Grand Theft, Dealing In Stolen Property, and False Information to a Metal Recycler.
We would really like to capture Barker before he burgles and thieves again. It’s kind of his thing. He was out on bond for going onto CSX property and stealing copper wire from there. In fact, we even featured this particular crime in a story on Facebook:
