Lakeland Regional Health is pleased to announce that it opened a new location in Hillsborough County on Monday, December 6. Rheumatology is the first practice to open at 511 W. Alexander Street in Plant City; in the spring of 2022, Pediatric and Primary Care will be added to this new location as well.
“We are very excited to begin offering these care options to residents in this area,” said Sarah Bhagat, CLSSBB Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer LRH Physician Group, Ambulatory Operations and Organizational Effectiveness. “Lakeland Regional Health is dedicated to providing more convenient access to high-quality primary and specialty care throughout our community and in the surrounding areas.”
Two of Lakeland Regional Health’s four Rheumatologists, Durkhani Mahboob, MD, and Adriana Moncayo, MD, relocated their Rheumatology practices from the Grasslands Campus in Lakeland to this new location. A rheumatologist is an internist who diagnoses and treats musculoskeletal and autoimmune diseases and illnesses such as rheumatism, gout, lupus, arthritis, and other joint, muscle or ligament disorders.
