Breaking News – THE LAKELAND GRINCH HAS BEEN ARRESTED…
On December 29, 2021, PCSO detectives located and arrested 28-year-old Raheim Jamaar Johnson (AKA “City) for Burglary of a Residence (F2), Grand Theft (F3), Conspiracy to Commit Burglary (F3), Use of a Two-Way Device (F3), and Criminal Mischief (M2). Johnson is the Grinch who stole Christmas presents and other items from a home in east Lakeland (Crystal Lake area) on December 20th. He was transported to the Polk County Jail and currently has no bond.
“My deputies did an outstanding job locating this Grinch. I am thankful for all the tips we received from the community. And even though he wasn’t in jail by Christmas, he’s in jail now.” – Grady Judd, Sheriff
