ABOUT US
The Lakeland Police Department is composed of the Administrative Bureau (Chief’s office), the Neighborhood Services Bureau (NSB), the Investigative Services Bureau (ISB) and the Special Services Bureau (SSB). An Assistant Chief oversees NSB, ISB and SSB.
As of 2018, the department has 238 sworn full-time officers (1 chief, 3 assistant chiefs, 4 captains, 11 lieutenants, 35 sergeants, and 189 officers & detectives) and 119 civilian employees.
